The use of powder coatings (generally referring to thermosetting powder coatings) is increasing worldwide. Weather resistance test is one of the important indicators for powder coating testing. It is a process of prediction and evaluation. Due to the completeness of detection standards and the accuracy of detection results, it is difficult to describe and measure it exactly. "Comparative Discussion on Natural Aging and Accelerated Aging of Powder Coatings" first expounds the factors affecting the wear resistance of powder coatings, and analyzes the evaluation method of weather resistance of powder coatings. Finally, by choosing Wuhan area for natural exposure test, the obtained data changes are compared with the data , and the test data of the two are analyzed and conclusions are drawn.

Comparison and conclusion of two kinds of test data: After analyzing the test data, combined with the change curve, in the single-tone flat coating film in the outdoor pure polyester/TGIC system, the weather resistance and the Wuhan area were measured according to the standard parameters of Hubei Laisi Enterprise. The corresponding relationship of the tested weather resistance performance is: QVB-313 lamp light source is irradiated for 300 h, which is equivalent to about 11 months of natural exposure in Wuhan; QVB-313 lamp light source is irradiated for 400 h, which is equivalent to about 18 months of natural exposure in Wuhan ; The QVB-313 lamp light source is irradiated for 500 hours, which is equivalent to about 24 months of natural exposure in Wuhan.
