The Shore hardness test method was proposed by American Shore (A·F·Shore) in 1907, and has a history of 90 years. Type C and Type D Shore Hardness Testers.
In the 1990s, the company developed the E-type (mechanical) Shore Hardness Tester. The Shore hardness test method is one of the rebound hardness test methods, and the rebound hardness test method belongs to the range of dynamic load (dynamic, dynamic) hardness test methods.
Therefore, the Shore hardness test method is a commonly used dynamic load hardness test method. Due to the characteristics of easy portability, convenient operation, rapid testing, shallow and small indentation, the Shore Hardness Tester is still widely used in the inspection of the hardness quality of materials or products in metallurgy, machinery, and light industry.
