The reflectance meter is mainly used to measure the hiding rate of pigments and paints, so as to improve the technical parameters , so this type of instrument is widely used in pigments and paint manufacturing enterprises. The measurement principle is to define the reflectance of a satisfactory surface with a spectral diffuse reflectance of 100% as 100, and define the reflectance of an absolutely black surface with a spectral diffuse reflectance of 0 as 0. A reflectivity measuring instrument generally consists of a light source, an optical system, a detection system, a data processing system and a display system.
However, there is no verification procedure for the reflectance measuring instrument in the country at present, and the enterprise standards of each manufacturer are also different. This paper and studies the calibration method of this type of instrument, proposes a solution, and conducts a comparison of the calibration results.
