The natural environment test site is a site specially set up in areas with typical climatic conditions for testing the environmental corrosion resistance of materials or products. my country has a vast territory, with 7 climate zones, 4 sea areas, and more than 40 kinds of soils. There are many types of natural environments, and the corrosivity to materials varies greatly. According to my country's national conditions and national construction needs, the construction of the National Material Natural Environment Corrosion Test Station began in the late 1950s. After unremitting efforts, with the joint support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of CHINA and relevant departments, it has been selected. Integrate 28 material field environmental corrosion test stations representing different natural corrosion environments in my country, including 7 water environment corrosion test stations, 8 soil environment corrosion test stations, and 13 atmospheric environment corrosion test stations. It can be used by relevant national departments and units to carry out corrosion test and research work on materials and products in typical natural environments.
Take Hainan Wanning Experimental Station as an example. This experimental station was built in 1973. It is located at 110°05' east longitude, 18°58' north latitude, 12.3m above sea level, with an annual average temperature of 22.4°C, an annual average precipitation of 1492.0mm, and a relative humidity of 79%. . Located on the south coast of Wanning, Hainan, the exposure test site is 350m away from the sea, and the offshore exposure test site is 50m away from the sea. It is a professional test station for environmental adaptability and reliability test research of various materials and products.
The station is affiliated to the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Natural Environment Experimental Research Center. It is one of the ten key test stations for the "National Atmospheric Environment Corrosion Test" first determined by the National Science and Technology Commission and the National Natural Science Foundation of CHINA in 1983. It can carry out various materials And a professional test station for product environmental adaptability and reliability test research.
