Maintenance method of ultrasonic Flaw Detector

Ultrasonic flaw Detector is a relatively sophisticated electronic instrument, which has certain applications in many industries. In order to reduce the occurrence of instrument failures, prolong the service life of the instrument, and keep the instrument in good working condition, attention should be paid to the maintenance of the instrument. If it is not used for a long time, there will be errors in the measurement data when it is used again, which is caused by improper maintenance during storage.

So what is the maintenance method of ultrasonic flaw Detector?

1. Storage:

1. Clean the surface of the flaw Detector after use, and then place it in a dry and ventilated room. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight and stored in contact with rainwater, oil, corrosive gases, etc., and avoid strong vibration and extrusion. Do not distort and stress the probe connection. Hold the root of the plug when unplugging or plugging in the cable.

2. After each use of the instrument, the dust and oil on the surface should be wiped off in time, and placed in a dry place. In humid areas or humid seasons, when the instrument is not used for a long time, it should be turned on and turned on regularly for about half an hour to drive out moisture and prevent internal short circuit or breakdown of the instrument.

2. Use:

1. Before using the instrument, read the instruction manual carefully, understand the performance characteristics of the instrument, be familiar with the position, operation method and precautions of each control switch and knob of the instrument, and operate strictly according to the instructions.

2. When moving the instrument, strong vibration should be avoided. Reliable protection measures should be taken to prevent the instrument from being dropped when performing on-site inspection, especially when working at heights.

3. Try to avoid using the instrument near a strong magnetic field, a lot of dust, large power fluctuations and strong vibrations, and places where the temperature is too high or too low.

4. When the instrument is working, rain, snow, water, oil, etc. should be prevented from entering the instrument to avoid damage to the instrument circuit and components.

5. If the instrument fails, the power should be turned off immediately, and the maintenance personnel should be checked and repaired in time. Remember to disassemble at will to avoid fault expansion and accidents.

3. Power supply method:

1. When using ultrasonic flaw Detectors, AC and DC power supply methods are generally used. When the voltage of the DC battery is too low, the flaw Detector will sound an alarm; the battery power will be prompted in the lower left corner of the screen of the ultrasonic flaw Detector. When the Bat display value of the battery power is less than 10, the data should be saved as soon as possible to avoid data loss; or plug in the charging power supply to charge the battery, and the power should be turned off during the charging process. Otherwise, the ultrasonic flaw Detector will automatically shut down, and the detection data will be lost at the same time.

2. Please use the charger attached to the ultrasonic flaw Detector to charge the battery, and it can work normally when charging. Charging means that the battery of the instrument enters a self-protection state due to insufficient power. In the battery protection state, the instrument will not be able to be turned on. At this time, the battery should be charged. Insert the charging plug of the charger into the charging socket of the instrument, and plug the charger into the AC 220V/50Hz mains socket, and a charging prompt will be displayed.

3. Generally, after fully charged, the ultrasonic flaw Detector can continuously provide the instrument for more than several hours. If it needs to work continuously for a longer time, it can be equipped with a set of spare batteries. As the number of charge and discharge increases, the continuous working time provided by the lithium battery may decrease, which is a normal phenomenon.

4. If the instrument is not used for a long time, it should be powered on once every half month.

4. According to the determined flaw detection method

Correctly select the appropriate probe and sensitivity test block.
