Architectural coatings production process

The general production process of architectural coatings includes preparation of base materials, dispersion and grinding of solid materials such as pigments (fillers), coating configuration, filtration, inspection, product weighing, packaging and other processes. Figure 1 shows the production process of architectural coatings picture.

Different production scales or different paint varieties have quite different production processes and requirements. For example, the base material preparation of large and medium-sized paint manufacturers includes the synthetic reaction process of polymers, while small paint manufacturers purchase The base material is used as a raw material, or it is simply modified. The preparation process of latex coatings generally has higher requirements than solvent-based and water-soluble ones, and there are some differences in the selection of process equipment.
