Water-based paint production process

Water-based paint plays an important role in the water-based paint system. This article specifically introduces the production process steps of water-based paint:

1. Ingredients: The raw materials are water-soluble acrylic acid polymers, additives, organic and inorganic pigments, and water is the diluent and dispersion medium.

2. Pre-dispersion: The dispersing speed of the mixer is 1200 revolutions per minute, dispersing for 30 minutes, the temperature of the dispersion in the container reaches 40°C±5, the power of the mixer motor is 4KW, and the noise of full-load operation is ≤40 decibels.

3. Grinding: The grinding mechanical equipment is a sand mill, the motor power is 22KW, the noise of full-load operation is ≤45 decibels, the grinding time depends on the number of objects to be ground, and the temperature of the inner wall of the Grinder reaches 50°C±5. The inside of the machine is circulating cooling water.

4. Dispersion: This is the mixing stage of semi-finished products. It is mainly to mix water-based varnish, ground color paste or some fillers, such as kaolin, talcum powder, etc. The dispersion speed of the mixer is 1000 rpm, and the dispersion is 20 minutes. The temperature of the dispersion in the container reaches 40°C±5, the power of the mixer motor is 22KW, and the noise of full-load operation is ≤50 decibels.

5. Color matching: Color matching is carried out according to the needs of customers. It is a process of mixing various finished colors together, and most of them are manually operated.

6. Canning: it is the last process of production, measuring and packaging.

The above is the production process of water-based paint.
