(2) Production process
(1) Weigh each raw material according to the formula ratio.
(2) After stirring and dissolving borax with 50 parts of waste water, add it to the remaining water.
(3) Dissolve 2020 leveling agent, propylene glycol, glycerin, benzyl alcohol, sodium hexametaphosphate, methyl silicone oil, tributyl phosphate, antifungal agent, and preservative into step (2) while stirring in the resulting solution.
(4) Add styrene-acrylic emulsion to the solution in step (3).
(5) Add tributyl phosphate to the solution produced in step (4), and stir while adding until the foam in the solution is eliminated.
(6) Add ammonia water to the solution produced in step (5), stir while adding, and test its pH value, pH=9 is suitable.
(7) The paint produced by the above steps is white and transparent. If it is necessary to make a colored paint, add the color paste according to the required color, stir while adding, and mix well.
(3) Performance and use
The paint has strong anti-fouling and water-repellent properties, low cost, convenient construction, simple production, low cost of production equipment, and low labor intensity.
This paint is suitable for interior and exterior wall decoration.
