The Elcometer 506 Adhesion Tester is designed to measure the pull-off adhesion of coatings up to 50MPa (7,250psi) in the field or in the laboratory. The smooth-rotating gage's crank applies an even force across its entire range, ensuring repeatable results with an accuracy of ±1 percent, it says.
Available in both analogue and digital versions, the product features quick-connect couplings to connect trolleys of 14.2, 20 or 50mm diameter and comes with a range of accessories to work on flat, curved, thick and thin substrates including metal, wood, concrete and other fibrous materials.
The Elcometer 506 Test Head (Actuator) has been designed to be compact, ergonomic and lightweight for one-handed testing, even in inconvenient or confined spaces. The magnetic clamp attachment also keeps the actuator securely attached to vertical surfaces, preventing accidental damage to the surrounding area.
