MiniTest 735 Coating Thickness Gauge features

The MiniTest 735 model is equipped with an external sensor.

The MiniTest 735 Coating Thickness Gauge is the solution to all coating thickness problems where reliable surface preparation and good product appearance play an important role for long-term value and success, e.g. in the automotive and shipbuilding industries, steel structures and bridge structures Or the electroplating industry, to name a few.

The MiniTest 735 is ergonomically designed and its rounded shape allows the MiniTest gauge to fit snugly in the palm of your hand. It also has measurement speed setting options that can be adjusted to changing requirements for effective and high productivity: take multiple readings in a short period of time with medium precision, or several readings with higher precision.

The MiniTest 735 facilitates the non-destructive coating of non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetics, chrome, etc.) and insulating coatings (varnishes, enamels, synthetics, anodized aluminum, etc.) on conductive substrates (iron) Measurement (aluminum, copper, austenitic stainless steel).

Its sensors are well compensated for irregularly shaped surfaces thanks to predefined calibration methods that can be adapted to various surface conditions and accuracy requirements.

The MiniTest 735 gauge is equipped with the new SIDSP® sensor. SIDSP® is the worldwide expertise in coating thickness sensors. With this new technology, another new benchmark for innovative coating thickness measurement has been set.

SIDSP® stands for Sensor Integrated Digital Signal Processing: a sensor technology that fully processes the signal into digital form at the time and point of measurement. SIDSP® sensors are manufactured according to new specialized production techniques.

Unlike conventional technologies, SIDSP® sensors create and control the excitation signal for the sensing head inside the sensor. The return signal is directly digitized and processed with 32-bit precision to give you the complete coating thickness value. For this technique, as is known in modern telecommunication technology (mobile phone networks), highly sophisticated methods of digital signal processing are used, such as digital filters, baseband conversion, averaging, stochastic analysis, etc. This enables users to achieve signal quality and precision hitherto unmatched by analog signal processing. The thickness value is digitally transmitted to the display unit via the sensor cable. Setting new standards for coating thickness measurement,

The new SIDSP® sensors in turn guarantee:
- high stability of the measuring signal
- high accuracy of the characteristic curve of the SIDSP® sensors
- very good adaptability of the SIDSP® sensors
- compensation of the substrate conductivity by the SIDSP® N and FN sensors
- SIDSP® sensors are very insensitive to changing temperatures
- SIDSP® sensors are wear resistant
- future-proof solution

The delivery of the device includes the data transfer software MSoft 7 basic.
