We can eliminate such errors by calibrating the balance.

In addition, when the balance works for a long time, due to the influence of environmental factors such as temperature and humidity, the balance may produce small errors. We can also eliminate these errors by calibration.

Therefore, when using a newly purchased balance for the first time, or when moving a balance from one place to another, it is necessary to calibrate the balance.

A standard weight for calibration should be prepared according to the requirements (accuracy is above 0IMLF2 level). Different weights should be selected according to different models as follows:

Calibration steps

JA series balances are preheated for 0.5 hours, and FA series balances are preheated for 1 hour.

Take FA2004 as an example, to weigh the empty load, first press the TAR key to tare, the balance will display 0.0000g, then press the CAL key quickly and lightly, the display will flash CAL-200, then put the "200g" calibration weight on the weighing pan, After a few seconds, it will display "200.0000g", take the weight off the weighing pan, the balance will display 0.0000g, the calibration is over, and you can weigh.

There is no need to place weights when calibrating the internal self-calibration series balance, just press the CAL key once, the balance will display "INT-200", wait for 20 seconds, the balance will display "200.0000g", then the balance will automatically return to 0.0000g, and calibrate When finished, the weighing can be carried out.

If there is still an error in the balance display value after internal calibration, the balance can be calibrated with external weights. Press and hold the "ON key" first, and then quickly press the "CAL" key. After "F" is displayed in the middle of the balance setting status bar, release the two keys at the same time, and the balance will flash CAL-200. At this time, put the " 200g" calibration weight, after a few seconds, it will display "200.0000g", take the weight off the weighing pan, the balance will display 0.0000g, the calibration is complete, and you can weigh.
