Moisture meter accuracy debugging method before experiment

The stability and accuracy of the trace moisture analyzer are the key to the measurement accuracy. Therefore, when using the trace moisture analyzer, we need to professionally debug it to make it meet the testing standards. So how to debug the trace Moisture Meter?

Disposal of electrolytic cells

Gently shake the electrolytic cell of the trace Moisture Meter a few times to make the water on the inner wall of the cell bottle fully absorbed by the electrolyte, then put the electrolytic cell into the holder, turn on the stirring switch, adjust the stirring speed, and make the liquid surface form Make a small vortex; insert the measuring electrode plug and the electrolytic electrode plug into the corresponding socket of the host, and make them in good contact, and turn on the electrolytic switch. Note: In the state of overiodine, the green lights of the measurement signal indicator and the electrolysis signal indicator are all off, and only one red light is on respectively, and the digital display does not count.

Adjust the electrolyte balance

If the electrolytic cell is still in a deep iodine state, use a 50ul micro-injector to extract 10ul of distilled water each time, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button, and inject it into the liquid surface of the electrolytic cell through the hole in the middle of the sampling cock several times. Next, inject at any time and observe the color change of the electrolyte at any time until the electrolyte turns light yellow, the green light of the measurement signal light and the electrolysis signal light indicate, and the counter starts counting. (When fresh electrolyte is used and the cell bottle is dry, about 30~50ul of water needs to be injected.) After the counting stops, stop stirring, pick up the electrolytic cell and shake it gently for a few times, and make the inner wall of the cell bottle The moisture is absorbed, and the calibration can be carried out after the end point alarm. (The electrolyte that has just been replaced is sometimes not stable. At this time, about 2~3ul of distilled water can be injected to make it count 2000~3000ug, which is convenient for faster stability.)

Calibrating Trace Moisture Analyzers

After the electrolyte is stable, use a 0.5ul micro-sampler to extract 0.3ul of distilled water, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button, inject it below the liquid level, the instrument will start counting, and when it reaches the end point, it will display 300±30ug of water, continuously calibrate for 2~ 3 times, the counting values are all within the required range, indicating that the instrument is accurate. (Note: The error of the fast moisture analyzer itself is not more than ±0.3%, but considering that the micro sampler has a capacity error of ±5% and human operation error, when using distilled water (100%) for calibration, the allowable error is within ± Within 10%.
