Trace moisture analyzers are widely used in petroleum products and raw materials, chemical solvents, additives, fine chemicals, power oil in the power industry, medicine, pesticides, agricultural products, scientific research, and colleges and universities. In the actual use process, what should we pay attention to to improve the stability of the instrument and the accuracy and reproducibility of the results? Let's start with the precautions for the operation of the trace moisture analyzer.
1. The typical measurement range of the Karl Coulomb method (coulometric method) is 10μg~10mg. In order to obtain accurate measurement results, the sample injection volume should be properly controlled according to the water content of the sample.
2. Make sure that the injector used is dry before injecting the sample. One sample has a dedicated injector. If multiple samples share one injector.
3. Before sample injection, be sure to wipe the needle part of the sample gas from the end to the front with filter paper to avoid the moisture attached to the needle from being brought into the reagent or attached to the sample pad, resulting in inaccurate test results.
4. When injecting the sample, inject the sample into the reagent at a uniform speed as quickly as possible after pressing the start button.
5. When the sample is injected into the electrolytic cell, the needle of the liquid sampler should be inserted into the electrolyte, and the liquid, solid, gas sampler and the sample should not be in contact with the inner wall and electrodes of the titration cell.
6. To ensure the consistency of each injection volume, the better the consistency, the better the data repeatability.
