Three lame plating methods for fluorocarbon paint painting

Fluorocarbon paint, known as the "king of paint", is a kind of paint with relatively excellent comprehensive performance, which is processed by fluorocarbon resin, pigments, additives, etc. Fluorocarbon paint has good protection, durability and decoration, and is widely used in anti-corrosion building decoration, wood furniture, industry, and electronic appliances. The service life of fluorocarbon paint is 3 to 5 times that of general paint, and it is very popular among industry users.

Fluorocarbon paint for exterior walls has a specific construction process, specifically: Base treatment→scraping flexible putty 1-2 times, polishing→stripping lines, dividing grids, sticking tape→rolling elastic brushed paint→spraying primer→spraying Intermediate paint → spray fluorocarbon paint on the exterior wall → partial repair. Among them, the spraying link is a very critical link.

For buildings and furniture, there are high aesthetic and durability requirements, so the spraying process of fluorocarbon paint is also very demanding. The so-called three-point paint, seven-point construction. There are several methods for fluorocarbon paint construction, including air spraying (Spray Gun), thermal spraying, and high-pressure airless spraying. It should be reasonably selected according to the area, shape, coating requirements and other conditions of the workpiece, so as to improve the coating efficiency, reduce the loss of paint and ensure the quality of the paint film as the standard. These spraying methods are introduced in detail below:

(1) Air spray method

The paint is sprayed from the nozzle of the Spray Gun, and the compressed air generated by the Air Compressor generates negative pressure at the nozzle to disperse the paint flow into particles and shoot it to the surface of the object to be coated. The injection pressure of the Air Compressor is 2-4 kg/cm2, and the distance between the muzzle and the object to be coated is 20-40 cm. The operator's construction proficiency determines the quality of the spray paint.

(2) thermal spraying method

It is necessary to preheat the coating to 40-60°C before construction, and the compressed air must also be preheated, with a pressure of 1.7-2 kg/cm2. This method saves control, has little pollution, and can also increase the thickness of the coating. The quality of the air spraying method used in heavy anti-corrosion engineering is good.

(3) High pressure airless spraying method

It is to drive the high-pressure pump to pressurize the paint by 100-200 kg/cm2. It is sprayed out through a special nozzle hole (0.2-1 mm), atomized into a very fine streamline in the atmosphere, and the streamline becomes very fine particles deposited on the surface of the workpiece due to the strong surface force.

The above are the three spraying methods of fluorocarbon paint. The construction process of fluorocarbon paint is a three-step spraying process including primer, intermediate paint and exterior wall fluorocarbon paint. Among them, primer spraying is a critical and first spraying procedure. So how to spray primer?

The three spraying methods required for fluorocarbon paint coating are shown in Figure 3

1) Check whether the putty meets the requirements, and repair the problematic places in time.

2) Spray the primer on the completely dry wall (the wall should be dry and the moisture content of the wall is less than 8%) (the air pressure is 5-8kg/cm2, spray without water)

3) It is required to spray evenly, without leaking spray, the color should be uniform, and there should be no blooming phenomenon, and the construction cannot be carried out in windy (level 6 or above) and rainy days

4) Spray the primer once, check after spraying, and find that there are batches of scratch marks or bee eyes on the wall, which need to be polished to meet the requirements.

5) Grinding should use 280-mesh or 360-mesh water-grinding paper, and the grinding should be careful, and be careful not to wear through the coating film.

6) Dust removal should be carried out after grinding, and the dust generated by grinding on the wall surface should be cleaned with a rag. If the dust removal is not effective, the fluorocarbon paint will not be able to achieve a smooth coating film after application.

7) After the primer is sprayed, it should have uniform color, uniform gloss, smooth surface of the coating film, and no dust and other stains.

The construction process of fluorocarbon paint will vary due to various factors, and more should be sprayed according to the actual situation in accordance with the standard process to achieve a good spraying effect.
