What is Copper Accelerated Enzyme Salt Spray Test?
Copper Accelerated Acetate Spray Test, also called CASS test, is an accelerated test method specially designed to evaluate Tongjinming or multi-layer Baoming. Based on the acetic acid salt spray test , copper dichloride (0.26 ± 0.02) g/L is added to the spray liquid, so that the effect of copper ions is used to accelerate the corrosion of the battery, thereby simulating a more severe working environment.

What is a corrosion paste test?
Corrosion paste test is a special method for accelerated corrosion test of parts. This method is to prepare the corrosive medium into a paste, apply it to the surface of the workpiece to be tested, and after a certain period (usually 24 hours) in a non-condensing constant Humidity Chamber, detect the rust state of the surface, which is mainly used to evaluate steel Or protective decorative lock layer on the surface of zinc alloy base material. The preparation method of the etching paste used is as follows.

Prepare the following three solutions first: ① Copper nitrate Sg/L, ② Ferric chloride 5g/L, ③ Chloride 100g/L.
Then take: 7ml of solution ①, 33ml of solution ②, 10ml of solution ③, a total of 50ml of the three solutions. Then add 30g of kaolin, stir well, and adjust it into a paste to form a corrosion paste. If the amount used is larger, it can be prepared in increments according to the above ratio.
After cleaning the surface of the sample to be tested, apply the corrosion paste on the surface with a brush. The thickness is required to be uniform and the thickness is about 0.5mm. In a constant Humidity Chamber with a temperature of 94%±4%, take it out for observation after one cycle. Before observation, the surface corrosion paste can be wiped off with a sponge, etc., and the rust situation can be observed and recorded. If necessary, the corrosion paste can be applied again to enter the second period of observation.
