1. Working principle and usage:

NDJ-5(8)SB Rotary digital display viscometer is controlled by single-chip microcomputer. It is an intelligent instrument with data collection, processing and Chinese character display. The instrument controls the stepper motor to run accurately and smoothly according to the set speed, and drives the rotor to rotate through the hairspring. When the rotor is not subjected to resistance, the rotor and the motor rotate synchronously; when the rotor is subjected to the resistance of the measured liquid, the rotation of the rotor will lag behind the motor. When the tension of the balance spring and the liquid resistance are balanced, the opening angle of the rotor lagging behind the motor is fixed. By measuring the opening angle, according to the set speed and rotor, the instrument calculates the viscosity of the measured liquid and displays it on the LCD screen.

Compared with similar instruments, the NDJ-5(8)SB viscometer is not only easy to operate, stable in speed, high in measurement accuracy and wide in working voltage range, it also has an automatic search function, that is, it can search for the best viscometer required for measuring unknown samples. Rotor and RPM. It can be connected to a computer, and the measurement results can be printed out through a printer, and its functions and performance have reached the same level at home and abroad.

(2) Installation of the instrument

1. Take out the chassis, lifting columns, lifting blocks, from the packing box. Screw the column into the chassis so that the column threads are aligned with the front, then tighten the hex nut on the bottom of the column. Adjust the lifting tightness.

2. Then install the main chassis of the instrument and connect the temperature probe.

3. Adjust the three screws on the chassis to make the instrument level (see the level bubble on the top of the main chassis).

4. Take off the universal joint protective cap at the lower end of the main chassis. (black protective cap)

5. Connect the power cord. 

5. Preparation

1. Pour the liquid to be tested into a circular flat-bottomed container with a diameter not less than 60mm.

2. Reversely screw the instrument protection frame into the terminal under the main case.

3. Select the used rotor and screw it counterclockwise into the universal joint of the instrument.

4. Rotate the lifting block to slowly immerse the rotor into the measured liquid, so that the rotor liquid level mark (groove score line on the rotor rod) is in the same plane as the measured liquid level.

5. Adjust the instrument level again.

六、按键及显示界面

仪器有八个按键:转子选择、转速设定、↑、↓、启动、停止、自动搜索、确认。

开启仪器背面电源开关,进入上电默认界面

注:1.按‘自动搜索’键,出现搜索界面(1)。初值为 1 号转子,6 转/分,转子号数字反白闪烁。可按‘↑’或‘↓’ 键,增减转子号

2.按’确认’键,转子号数字停止闪烁,进入自动搜索,如搜索界面(2),第三行显示‘正在搜索’。搜索时张角变化,转速自动改变。

3. 搜索完成,如搜索界面(3),第三行显示‘搜索结束’。界面上显示的转子、转速为合适的参数,可供用户参考;按’启动’键,可直接进入测试。

4. 搜索过程中,可能要更换转子,此时如搜索界面(4),第三行显示‘请换×号转子’,转子号数字反白闪烁,转速返回 6 转/分。用户更换好转子后,按’确认’键,数字停止闪烁,再次进入搜索。

5.若无匹配的转子转速,搜索自动停止。如搜索界面(5),第三行显示‘无合适转子及转速’。说明样品的粘度超出了仪器的测量范围。3 秒钟后,显示屏自动回到上电默认界面,第 3 行不刷新。

6. 搜索过程中,按’ 停止’键可强行停止搜索。如搜索界面(6),此时第三行显示‘搜索中止’。3秒钟后,显示屏自动回到上电默认界面,第 3 行不刷新。

7 设计有专用电脑打印接口,自动打印测量结果。 转子与转速的组合所对应测量的粘度范围,可参考下表:

七、注意事项

1. 由于粘度是温度的函数,仪器在常温下工作时,温度偏差应控制在±0.1℃,否则会影响测量的准确度。必要采用恒温槽。

2. 保持转子表面清洁。

3. Since the hairspring has a certain linear region, please pay attention to the percentage of the opening angle when measuring. The value should be between 20% and 80%, and it is better to choose the opening angle at about 50%. When the value of the opening angle percentage is too high Or when it is too low, you should replace the rotor or change the speed, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the measurement.

4. Be careful when loading and unloading the rotor, lift the universal joint slightly upwards, and do not use too much force. Do not force the rotor laterally and never pull the rotor down to avoid damage to the shaft tip.

5. The universal joint should be kept clean.

6. The instrument should be lowered slowly, and it is better to hold it by hand to avoid damage to the axis due to vibration.

7. When the instrument is being transported or moved, the universal connector should be covered with a protective cap.

8. Suspensions, emulsions, polymer materials, and some high-viscosity liquids are "non-Newtonian" liquids, and their apparent viscosity and shear velocity have a nonlinear relationship, so use different rotors, different speeds and As the measurement time changes, the viscosity measurement value may be inconsistent, which is not due to the error of the instrument test.

. The size of the rotor is based on the volume of the rotor. The largest is the No. 1 rotor, and the thinnest is the No. 4 rotor.
