Comparative Analysis of Mechanical Drive and Magnetic Drive Stirs

This paper mainly makes a comparative analysis from three parts: the structural characteristics of the mechanical transmission stirrer and the magnetic stirrer, the comparison of the installation and commissioning of the mechanical transmission stirrer and the magnetic stirrer, and the comparison of operation and maintenance costs.

(1) Stirrer: It is a propulsive structure. The agitator blade and the shaft are flanged or keyed, and fastened by bolts or lock nuts. (2) Tower body flange: connect and position the agitator.

(3) Bracket: One side of the bracket is flanged to the reducer, and the other side is flanged to the tower body.

(4) Flange cover of the tower body: The flange cover of the tower body is equipped with a mechanical seal cavity, and the shaft seal adopts a mechanical seal. The normal seal maintains a leakage rate of about 5 ml/h.

(5) Bearing: Rolling bearing, one set, the shaft length is 1200mm. The bearing is installed on the mechanical seal, so that the main shaft of the agitator is positioned on the mechanical seal, and the mechanical seal is positioned on the bearing. In this way, there is an interaction force between the bearing and the mechanical seal, and if one is damaged, the other is also easily damaged.

(6) Coupling: It is connected by a rigid coupling, and the concentricity of the coupling needs to be adjusted.

(7) Drive components: drive components such as motors and gearboxes are directly fixed on the agitator bracket.
