The shortening of the life of the Spray Gun during use is often not due to product quality problems, but due to improper maintenance and cleaning by the user.
Cleaning the Spray Gun cannot do the following:
①The whole Spray Gun is soaked in cleaning agent or in any liquid ;
② Use inferior cleaning agents (such as Sanwu products);
③ Soak the hood in the watering can (Figure 1);
④ The three-piece nozzle set has been soaked in cleaning agent for a long time;
⑤ After cleaning the Spray Gun, put the cleaning agent in the gun pot and soak it until the next use;
⑥Clean the Spray Gun with wire brushes, sharp tools, files, screwdrivers, silicon-containing cleaning tools, etc.
How to properly clean the Spray Gun:
1) Pour the excess paint in the paint tank into the waste paint storage bucket, pull the trigger, and spray the paint inside the gun body paint.
2) Pour the thinner for cleaning the Spray Gun into the paint tank, adjust all the valves on the Spray Gun to the maximum, and pull the trigger to flush the paint channel.
3) Block the nozzle with a rag, pull the trigger, and flush the gun in reverse with compressed air.
4) Clean the paint tank with the brush used for cleaning the gun.
5) Repeat (2), (3) and (4) until the sprayed thinner does not contain any paint. Then clean the outside of the gun with a brush.
6) Remove the air cap and clean the paint nozzle with a brush.
7) Clean the air cap with a brush.
8) Pour a small amount of cleaning thinner into the paint cup to avoid blockage of paint passages.
