Analysis of Tinplate Surface Spreader Process

The full name of tinplate is tin-plated thin steel plate, referred to as tin plate. It is a low-carbon steel sheet plated with pure tin on both sides. The general thickness is 0.23 mm to 0.25 mm, and it is silver-gray. From the perspective of the cross section, the tinplate structure is the middle layer substrate (about 0.2 mm thick), and then the alloy layer (about 0.1 micron thick), tin layer (about 0.1 micron ~ 1 micron thick), iron oxide layer (thick About 0.001 mm ~ 0.01 micron), oil film layer (thickness about 0.001 mm ~ 0.01 micron) and so on. Among them, the role of the oil film is to prevent surface scratches caused by friction during accumulation, bundling or transportation of iron sheets, so as to ensure that the surface state of tinplate will not have adverse effects on printing or coating. At present, foreign countries have strengthened the management of the manufacture of tinplate to prevent the occurrence of failures such as non-stick ink or paint and decreased adhesion performance. Tinplate should be processed before screen printing. The purpose is to remove processing defects, improve the aesthetic effect of the surface, change the smoothness of the metal surface, and improve printing suitability.
