Gas Detector remote communication solution (9)

Gas Detector remote communication solution (9) with picture 1

As shown in the figure, the site is networked according to the bus system communication method, and the RS485 signal is transmitted to the optical transceiver to be converted into an optical signal, which is transmitted by optical fiber. At the receiving end, the optical transceiver converts the optical signal into an RS485 signal for receiving by computers, PLCs and other equipment.

The main advantages of this communication method are:

1. It can be transmitted over long distances, as long as the optical fiber can be, the signal can be transmitted as far as possible, and there is no signal attenuation problem

2. The signal transmission speed is super fast and stable, which only depends on the communication rate of the device

3. Reduce wiring costs: the cost of optical fiber is much cheaper than three-core cables and four-core cables

4. Improve the efficiency of on-site installation. Now that the optical fiber network is gradually popularized, it is very convenient to use optical fiber for LAN and external network transmission.
