Specific installation method:
Start the motor, pull out the RCA tape paper or tape directly from the supply roll, first pass the paper or tape up through the gap between the two rollers, then stop the motor, and install the paper or tape in the order of #1 to #6.
Push the protruding shaft of the center of the pressure roller W to the right with the right hand, hold the front end of the paper or tape with the left hand, pull it out for a length to exceed the center wheel of the winding reel, and then adjust the paper or tape to the center of the roller Location.
Put the front end of the paper into the notch of the center wheel of the winding reel, push the pressure roller to the right with the right hand, and rotate the center wheel counterclockwise with the left hand, wind the paper more than 2 times and wind it on the center wheel.
NOTE: The two set screws for the winding reel need only be tightened enough to allow the winding reel to turn.
In the process of paper tape wear test, if the method is not properly operated, some errors will inevitably occur. The following introduces some operating techniques and methods, which can greatly reduce the errors caused by the test:
The sample to be tested is fixed on the sample stage and the sample needs to have two parallel sides.
1. Check the screw to make sure it is fully tightened on the vertical shaft. (no tools required to tighten)
2. Move the cam follower shaft to the paper surface for the continuous test wear.
3. Make sure the vertical axis is at the lowest position,
4. Start the motor
5. If the test paper shakes too much, loosen the screws under the frame slightly. (There is a brass plug under the screw to allow proper rotation of the vertical shaft if the screw is too loose). Then the frame is slightly moved to the left or right to better pass the paper, and then tighten the screws.
Installation Precautions
Secure the paper strip by the paper guide roller frame.
If the position of the reel has changed, check whether the two guide rollers are consistent with the horizontal position of the machine.
The position of the nylon frame can be adjusted along the vertical axis, which is an easy and quick way to correct slight misalignments of the paper.
The test area needs to be level with the contact surface of the O-ring wrapping paper. Use a surface gauge to check that the test area XY is level.
Sometimes it is necessary to restore the nylon frame to the original position mentioned above.
Pulling the tape directly and continuously between the 2" diameter roller and the 2" diameter spring will cause pressure on the W or uneven spring pressure
Need to be reset before using a new roll of tape that goes over the W roll and passes through the 1/2" roll.
