The acrylic resin aqueous dispersion synthesized in this paper is a thermosetting acrylic resin. The molecular weight of the resin is smaller than that of the thermoplastic acrylic resin. It needs to add a curing agent to cause a crosslinking reaction before the obtained paint film can be used. The curing agent is generally amino resin and blocked diisocyanate, which can cross-link with the hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, amino group and other groups of the water-based acrylic resin.

The reference formula for preparing waterborne acrylic one-component varnish is shown in Table 3-4. Weigh the required raw materials according to the formula, stir and disperse them evenly, add deionized water to adjust the viscosity of the mixture, use a 100μm wire Bar Coater to apply the varnish coating on the polished tinplate, and then put it into the electric heating drum In an air Drying Oven, bake at 160°C for 30 minutes, and leave the cured paint film for testing.
