The online viscometer is a tool to measure an important physical parameter of a liquid's ability to resist flow, and it plays an important role in understanding the properties of the fluid and studying the flow state. In actual engineering and industrial production, it is often necessary to detect the viscosity of the fluid online to ensure a better process operating environment and product quality, thereby improving production efficiency. The online viscometer is mainly composed of two parts: sensor and instrument circuit. It is a closed-loop instrument with electromechanical integration, which integrates measurement and control. The sensor is a two-way sensor, which can realize the mutual conversion of mechanical quantities and electrical signals, and turn complex mechanical systems into circuit systems that are easy to analyze. Analysis and experimentation play a major role.

As a precision instrument, there must be some key points that need to be paid attention to during use. Similarly, when using an online viscometer, there are several key points that users need to keep in mind.
1. The adaptability of the viscometer to the external environment is extremely small. For the instrument to perform well, eliminate all unnecessary friction that may affect the sensitivity of the instrument; have good cleaning habits; take care to prevent dust, smoke, liquids, and other sources of contamination from entering the viscometer. If operating the instrument in a contaminated environment, we recommend using an extended viscometer spindle or cleaning kit to reduce contamination from entering the system.
2. Do not expose the viscometer to the environment of 75°C. When measuring sample viscosity at elevated temperatures, it is recommended to use the extended spindle or the attached heating accessory.
3. Do not install the rotor with fluid attached on the instrument.
4. Avoid inserting and squeezing the rotor joint from the side or below, because the connecting screw can protect the center and bearing of the rotor, and such rough actions will damage or make the connecting screw insensitive. When touching or removing the spindle, the Viscometer remembers to slightly lift the spindle to the screw, do not knock the spindle into the sample well and do not pull directly on the spindle or spindle fitting.
5. Do not let the instrument fall down or shake the instrument violently. The base of the viscometer provides convenient and sturdy support. If you take the viscometer to other places for use, keep the viscometer in a box when it is not in use or transported.
The above are a few key points for using the online viscometer, hoping to help users use the online viscometer better.
