PHB-3 Portable pH meter Instructions for use

Instructions:

1. Open the battery cover, insert the battery, and turn on the power.

2. Open the protective cover and pull the electrode out (the length can be adjusted by itself).

3. Clean the electrode with pure water and dry it, place the electrode in the pH6.86 standard solution, stir it and place it still to stabilize the displayed value, then insert a small screwdriver into the small hole on the right to adjust the displayed value, (for example, the solution temperature is

At 25°C, adjust the displayed value to 6.9pH).

4. After calibration, wash the electrode with pure water and dry it.

5. Place the electrode in the solution to be tested, stir it a little and then place it still, the reading after the displayed value is stable is the pH value of the solution.

6. After use, wash the electrode with pure water and dry it, and put on a protective cover.

Precautions:

1. After the instrument is calibrated with a pH6.86 standard solution, it can be used continuously for one to two weeks, generally depending on the sample condition, electrode performance and use times.

2. After the electrode is immersed in the solution, it must not exceed the immersion cut-off line to prevent the solution from entering the instrument and causing damage.

3. Please pay attention to keep the sponge in the protective case moist, and you can add an appropriate amount of pure water dropwise (no water can flow out), so as to keep activation state of the glass bulb and the liquid junction.

4. If the displayed value becomes blurred or does not display, or the displayed value has a large error, the battery needs to be replaced.

5. The service life of the electrode is about one year, and it should be replaced with a new electrode in time after aging. Replacement method: Rotate the electrode on the instrument counterclockwise for 7 to 8 circles, and then pull it out with a little force; then insert a new electrode and screw it clockwise until it is tightened . The electrode model is 201-GpH composite electrode.

6. After the instrument is used for a long time, the electrode head will be polluted, which will affect the test accuracy and response speed, so attention should be paid to cleaning maintenance. The method is: use a small oil paintbrush dipped in soapy water to wash the ball bulb and the liquid junction until clean, then wash it with clean water, and re-calibrate it after leaving it for a few hours
