When measuring ultra-low viscosity liquids, an ultra-low viscosity adapter should be selected. The adapter includes a set of brackets; a connecting hook; a suspension rod; a zero rotor; and a measuring cylinder. Carefully read the "NDJ/SNB Series Rotational Viscometer Instruction Manual" before use and complete the installation of the viscometer. When in use, take the parts of the adapter out of the special storage box and assemble them according to the following requirements and steps (refer to the figure on the left below) and then measure.
1. Install the bracket at the lower end of the host of the viscometer;
2. First connect the connecting hook to the boom, and then connect the large opening end of the boom to the No. 0 rotor. In order to reduce the measurement error, the link direction of the boom and No. 0 rotor should be as shown in the lower right figure;
3. Connect the connecting hook with the rotating shaft of the main engine, first lift the rotating shaft upward with the left hand and pinch it tightly, then pinch the connecting hook with the right hand, (looking down) connect the two clockwise and tighten gently;
4. First pour 30ml of the liquid to be measured into the measuring cylinder (accounting for about one-third of the volume of the measuring cylinder), and then put the measuring cylinder into the bracket from bottom to top. When the liquid level is slightly higher than the upper end surface of the rotor, tighten the three screws fixed;
5. Enter the rotor number (No. 0) and set the speed according to the fifth, sixth and eighth requirements and methods of Article 7 of the "NDJ/SNB Series Rotational Viscometer Instruction Manual" and press the <Measurement> key to measure the viscosity of the liquid to be measured (torque The measured value between 10% and 90% is an effective value).
