1 The following operating principles should be mastered: for high-viscosity samples, use small-volume No. 28 and No. 29 rotors and low speed; for low-viscosity samples, choose large-volume No. 21 and No. 27 rotors and high speed. When the torque value is in the range of 20%~90% (10%~90% when equipped with L0 rotor), the measured viscosity value is an effective value.
2 Under normal circumstances, you can first select the No. 29 rotor and a low speed of 10 rpm, select the automatic measurement "Auto" method for measurement, and then select the corresponding speed according to the measurement results. When measuring, judge whether the choice of rotor and speed is reasonable according to the value of torque displayed on the screen. The measured value of torque between 20%~90% (10%~90% when equipped with L0 rotor) is an effective value. If it is not in this range , the buzzer sends out an alarm sound, prompting to change the speed and replace the rotor. After changing the rotor, you need to input the new rotor number according to the selected rotor immediately, otherwise the measurement will be affected.
3 Estimate the viscosity range of the liquid (sample) to be measured. According to the operating principle, first select the rotor, and then select the speed. Also select the 21 rotor. When the speed is 100RPM, the maximum range displayed on the screen is 500 mPa·s. , the maximum range is 5000 mPa·s, and the range is expanded ten times.
