How does the phosphor and its coating mass affect the quality of compact fluorescent lamps?

Phosphor powder is also called luminous powder, which is mainly divided into two categories: radioactive luminous powder and energy storage luminous powder. However, since the radioactive luminous powder will cause environmental pollution and is toxic, it is generally used with caution. In this paper, the impact of phosphor powder and phosphor coating quality on the quality of compact fluorescent lamps is analyzed in detail. This paper focuses on the influence of the quality of tricolor phosphors on lamp quality, the design and control of phosphor coating thickness, common coating defects and treatment measures, and the new requirements of high-load, long-life lamps for phosphors. The performance of compact fluorescent lamps (commonly known as energy-saving lamps) is closely related to the quality of phosphors and their coatings. The light made of good phosphors has high efficiency, good color rendering, small color temperature drift, and low light decay; the opposite is true for inferior phosphors. The quality of the phosphor coating directly affects the appearance of the lamp, and also has a significant impact on the light color parameters and lumen maintenance rate of the lamp.
