1. Scope and Description
The samples for powder coating film performance inspection are prepared by electrostatic spraying method. Steel plates are used for powder coating acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt spray , heat and humidity resistance, adhesion and cupping tests, while tinplate plates are used for other inspection items. According to the requirements of the product standard the specified steel plate should be treated with phosphating process after derusting and degreasing.
2. Apparatus and Materials
Powder spraying cabinet; powder recovery device; high-voltage electrostatic generator; Spray Gun; Air Compressor; steel plate; tin plate; constant temperature Drying Oven.
3. Preparation method
Clean the oil stains of the blank sample with xylene or solvent gasoline, and then dry it with a clean silk cloth. If the product requires special requirements for the surface treatment of the test plate, it can be carried out according to the specified operation. After the test plate is processed, it is placed in the powder spraying cabinet, and sprayed with Spray Guns, high-voltage electrostatic generators, Air Compressors and other equipment. Keep the sprayed sample vertically and put it into a constant temperature Drying Oven for curing . The curing temperature and time are carried out according to the requirements of the product regulations, and the thickness of the spraying is also controlled according to the specified requirements. Then place the sample board under constant temperature and humidity conditions of (23±2) °C and relative humidity (50 ± 5)% for 24 hours, and the board making is completed. Test its performance according to relevant methods.
