3. Measurement method
(1) Standard sample method According to the plate making requirements of powder coatings and the requirements of product standards, the samples to be tested and the standard samples are respectively prepared on the tin plate to coat the coating film. After the coating film is dry, overlap the two boards by 1/4 area, and check under natural scattered light. The distance between the eyes and the sample board is 30-35cm, and the angle is about 120°-140°. Compare its color and appearance, and it should meet the technical requirements. poor range.
(2) Standard color plate method Prepare the coating film on the tinplate plate of the sample to be tested according to the plate making requirements of the powder coating product standard. After the coating film is dry, overlap the standard color plate and the sample to be tested by 1/4 area, check under natural scattered light, the distance between the eyes and the sample is 30-35cm, and the angle is about 120 °-140°. If it is between two standard swatches or is relatively close to a standard swatch, it is considered to meet the technical tolerance range.
Standard samples and standard swatches are agreed upon by the manufacturer and the user, and are generally valid for one year.
