Lamp and Irradiance Control

The solar eye irradiance control system (applicable to other models except QUV/basic) monitors and accurately maintains Differences caused by ambient temperature changes and lamp aging. radioactivity

The difference may affect the aging speed and aging mode of the material, so the control of irradiance is very important. NOTE: The QUV/basic model adjusts the irradiance level through lamp rotation.

Devices with a solar eye irradiance control system can set the irradiance level. For example, for UVA-340 lamps, the irradiance set at 0.73 W/m2@340nm is equivalent to the light intensity at noon in summer. In order to get test results faster, the QUV can be set to run at 200% of the summer noon light intensity . The table below lists the maximum irradiance levels and some commonly used irradiance set points based on different lamp types.

The above data is based on the value of the test machine of the solar eye irradiance control system. The lamp life of QUV/basic is guaranteed to be 1600 hours.
