Development of thick coating wear-resistant solvent-free epoxy anti-corrosion coatings

In view of the volatile characteristics of solvent-based anti-corrosion coatings during the film-forming process, it is easy to cause pinholes and shrinkage defects, causing water, oxygen and corrosive media to penetrate and cause corrosion under the film. The expansion of corrosion products breaks the coating, and the medium diffuses along the coating, causing the coating to fall off in flakes, and the coating loses its anti-corrosion function. Solvent-free anti-corrosion coatings have no solvent volatilization, can eliminate coating pinholes, enhance penetration resistance and corrosion resistance, reduce resource waste caused by solvent volatilization, and reduce environmental damage. In this study, low-viscosity bisphenol F epoxy resin was used as the basic material, high wear-resistant pigments and fillers and additives were added, and modified aliphatic amine was used as the curing agent to develop a product with thick coating, fast curing speed, excellent wear resistance, A solvent-free epoxy anti-corrosion coating with strong adhesion, excellent salt spray resistance, and good cathodic disbonding resistance.
