Non-destructive testing technology is actually a detection method that obtains relevant content, or physical and chemical information of the measured object without destroying the state or chemical properties of the measured object. This paper mainly applies the special Thickness Gauge for absorbing coating developed by eddy current testing technology in NDT method. This method is simple and accurate to measure. It can be used for ferromagnetic wave-absorbing coatings coated on aluminum alloy substrates, and it is also very effective in solving the problem of controlling the thickness of wave-absorbing coatings during construction on large workpieces. As one of the stealth technologies, the wave-absorbing coating has simple process, convenient construction and wide application, which is the main direction of stealth research in all countries in the world.
