Several tips for choosing an Ozone Aging Test Chamber

In order to solve the cracking problem of rubber products, we have developed an Ozone Aging Test Chamber. It can simulate and strengthen the ozone conditions in the atmosphere, study the law of ozone on rubber, quickly identify and evaluate the anti-ozone aging performance of rubber and the protective effect of anti-ozone agents, and then take effective anti-aging effects to improve the service life of rubber products measures.

1. Affected by ambient temperature. Some products need to be tested at sub-zero temperature, some need to be tested at room temperature (23 degrees Celsius), and some need to be tested at high temperature, so you need to know what temperature your product is tested at. If there is no air-conditioning system and you need to place an ozone Test Chamber in your room, it is recommended that you choose a refrigeration system when purchasing an ozone Test Chamber. In order to avoid testing in summer when the room temperature is high and cause the test to be inaccurate.

2. Have factory qualification. Choose a strong and experienced manufacturer. An experienced manufacturer is not only an instrument, but also the importance of follow-up technical support is self-evident.

3. Start with box capacity. As long as it fits your product under test, the smaller the better. We don't need a container larger than your sample, which just adds unnecessary cost and makes it difficult to control the precision of the ozone concentration.

4. From the sample holder. Some need to do a static tensile test, stretch the sample to a certain speed, and put it in an ozone aging test box to see if there are cracks, etc. Some need to do dynamic tensile test, and the Ozone Aging Test Chamber can check the situation under the dual effects of mechanical tension and ozone accelerated aging by clamping the sample on the dynamic fixture. Another requirement is to simply place the sample in the ozone chamber.

5. Start with the ozone concentration. Generally speaking, rubber ozone concentration is low (50~1000pphm) or high concentration (50~300ppm), and rubber parts for wires and cables or military products require higher test concentrations. When purchasing an ozone aging Tester, it is necessary to choose a good Test Chamber adjustable range, and choosing a suitable ozone concentration range can also improve the test accuracy.
