Installation Notes
When choosing a location for the balance, please note the following:
- Do not place the balance near heating or direct sunlight, where the air flows directly (open windows or doors)
——Do not place the balance in an environment where the temperature is too high or too low, prone to collision, vibration and humidity
——Installed on a level, stable, and vibration-free workbench, and shall not be placed in places with rot and turbidity or strong magnetic field interference places that affect the normal operation of the balance
Adapting the Balance to Temperature Changes
When moving a balance at a lower temperature to a place with a higher temperature or at a higher temperature to a place with a lower temperature, please leave the balance at room temperature for about 2 hours, and then turn it on and preheat it for use . The balance is aligned with the new ambient temperature equilibrium.
Installation steps
Use dry batteries/rechargeable batteries (only for optional balances)
○Dry batteries or rechargeable batteries are not included in the scope of delivery of the balance
△ Only common 9V dry batteries or rechargeable batteries on the market can be used
△ Only use an external charger to charge the rechargeable battery
● Place the balance on its side
● Open the battery cover
● Put in 9V dry battery or rechargeable battery
○ Confirm that the positive and negative poles of the battery are installed correctly
△ Used dry batteries or rechargeable batteries are special garbage (not household garbage). According to the Waste Disposal Act, rechargeable batteries are collected as special waste and disposed of separately.
● Close the battery compartment: press the battery compartment cover down and tighten the screws
Level the balance
The balance must be rebalanced every time the balance is changed. To level the balance, just use the two rear anchor bolts.
● Turn the last two anchor bolts counterclockwise into place
● Turn the rear anchor bolt as shown until the bubble of the level is exactly in the center of the ring.
● Turn the last two anchor bolts clockwise to the supporting surface
>Typically, the leveling procedure needs to be repeated several times.
