How to use the Dutch TQC coating hardness test pen SP0010

TQC Hardness Test SP0010 is a pocket-sized instrument for testing the hardness and abrasion/scratch resistance of materials such as paints, varnishes, plastics or related products. Draw a tungsten carbide tip on the surface with a defined constant pressure. The pressure on the tip can be changed by a slide or by changing the spring. Visible markings on the surface after using the TQC hardness test SP0010 indicate failure in surface hardness or abrasion/scratch resistance. Can be used on flat and curved surfaces.
