How does the gloss meter continuously measure the coating gloss? Generally, the gloss meter needs to lift the gloss meter to test again after the first test, but with the maturity of the gloss meter technology, many brands and models can realize the continuous measurement mode. The gloss of the same point can be tested continuously, and the average value can be taken to obtain an accurate gloss value, which also improves the efficiency of the test.

This article takes the test method of 3Ench NHG60M gloss meter as an example. Let's see the specific operation steps:
First, the continuous mode single-angle measurement interface of the gloss meter is as follows:

Click the "Continuous Measurement" name at the top of the interface to quickly enter the continuous mode parameter setting interface. "C006" in the upper part of the interface indicates the serial number of the current measurement record, and the serial number of the continuous measurement record starts with "C".
The picture ( ) in the interface
is the shortcut key for angle selection, click to enter the angle selection interface directly.
Note: This option does not exist for single-angle instruments.
"16:33" and "2015.10.23" in the interface represent time and date respectively.
"C102316" in the interface is the default name of the measurement record. The default name of the continuous measurement record is composed of "C" + "month" + "day" + "hour". "C" in "C102316" means continuous record, "102316 "Represents the record of time measurement at 16:00 on October 23.
Clicking on the name area will enter the name editing interface, where you can edit the desired name for this measurement data record of the current serial number. The name can be edited with up to 8 characters, and only numbers or letters can be used.
"6/8" in the interface, "8" indicates that the number of continuous measurements is set to 8; "6" indicates that the sixth measurement has been completed so far. For the setting method of continuous measurement times, please refer to the chapter of continuous mode parameters in the operation manual of the gloss meter. Save a record after automatic measurement.
"60°" in the interface indicates that the current measurement is measured under the environment of an optical path with an angle of 60°.
"76.0, 74.8 , 76.1 , 72.9 " in the middle of the interface are the continuous record measurement value, average value, maximum value and minimum value respectively.
Measurement value: current measurement data.
Average: Calculates the average value of a continuous record of measurement data.
Maximum value: the maximum value of a continuous record measurement data.
Minimum value: The minimum value of a continuous record of measurement data.
When the number of continuous measurements is finished, click the delete area on the lower left to delete the current serial number record.
Multi-angle measurement in continuous mode: the measurement interface is as shown in the figure below: it is the measurement interface under the optical path environment with an angle of "20°60°85°".
Note: This item does not exist for single-angle instruments.
