Principle of screen printing

Screen printing is a type of stencil printing, and the printing area on the screen printing plate is composed of mesh holes that can permeate ink.

Tighten silk fabrics, synthetic fiber fabrics or wire mesh on the screen frame with uniform tension. The screen frame is made of wood or aluminum alloy; After fixing and other post-processing, it can be made into a screen printing plate. On the exposed printing plate, the photosensitive material on the printing area is developed and washed away, so the mesh allows ink to pass through, while the photosensitive material on the non-printed area is not exposed and is not developed and washed away, so the mesh It is blocked and cannot allow ink to pass through. During printing, through the extrusion of the scraper, the ink is transferred to the substrate through the mesh in the printing area to form a printed image; while in the non-printing area, because the mesh is blocked by the photosensitive material, the ink cannot be transferred through the mesh. onto the substrate, forming a blank portion
