What performance testing is required for wall latex paint?

In order to evaluate the elastic wall latex paint, in addition to the general latex paint performance test (GB/T9755--2001), the following tests should also be considered:

(1) Crack bridging performance test (ASTM C 836- -89).

(2) Water vapor transmission test (ASTM D 1653-93 or GB/T 17146-1997).

(3) Anti-carbon dioxide diffusion test.

(4) Flexibility test (GB/T 1731).

(5) Determination of tensile strength and elongation

① Cast a film on release paper, control the dry film thickness to 375~400μm, and make it in two steps, each with a thickness of 185~200μm. The interval between the two courses is 24h.

② After drying for 7 days, peel off the coating and cut into strips.

③Use a Tensile Testing Machine to carry out a tensile test to measure the tensile strength and elongation, and the tensile speed is 100~50mm/s.
