Slurry is (simple paint) mainly used for painting walls in interior decoration. It is the simplest and most economical paint. Commonly used slurries include lime slurries, large white powder slurries, and Corsa silver slurries.
(1) Lime slurry
Lime is a low-grade wall covering material. It is convenient in construction and good in coating effect, but its disadvantages are poor water resistance, stain resistance, moisture resistance and adhesion.
There are two kinds of lime commonly used: one is lime paste that has been sprayed. When using it, add water to adjust it to an appropriate consistency, and add some salt to increase its adhesion. The other is quicklime blocks, which are soaked in water to make lime slurry. Filter with a copper wire sieve before use; when using, if the slurry is too thick, add water and stir; if the slurry is too thin, remove some clear water on the surface to make it thicker.
(2) Large white powder slurry
Dabai powder, also known as old powder, is a finely ground calcium carbonate powder. The covering power of large white powder is higher, and the wall surface painted with large white powder slurry is finer and whiter than that of lime slurry, and it is more convenient to operate, use, maintain and update. The disadvantage is poor water resistance and moisture resistance. In addition to being used for room surface brushing and painting, white powder can also be used to prepare coloring materials such as putty and water powder.
(3) Corsa silver paste
Compared with white powder, Corsa silver is finely ground and mixed, so it has good fineness and uniformity, especially the pigment, which is also mixed in advance, and it is easy to obtain a uniform coating. As a result, the adhesion and wear resistance of its coating film are better than those of white powder. Corsa Silver is a mid-range interior wall covering material.
Corsa silver is a kind of colored powder, which is prepared by grinding calcium sulfate, talc powder and pigments, and then adding dry glue (casein glue).
