Thick lacquer, also known as lead oil, is a cheap and poor quality paint variety. It is a blue substance made from pigments and dry or semi-thousand oil. Oil generally only accounts for 10% to 20% of the total weight. It cannot be used directly. It is necessary to add an appropriate amount of cooked tung oil and pine perfume to make it into a usable consistency. Generally, the proportion of prepared topcoat is 60%~80% of thick paint, 20%~40% of clear oil, and the proportion of prepared primer is 70%~80% of thick paint, 20%~30% of rosin. In winter, an appropriate amount of adjuvant must be added to dry.
The paint made with thick paint has properties similar to oily blended paint, but the price is cheaper than oily blended paint. However, because the oil has not been polymerized, the amount of extender pigment is large, and it needs to be temporarily prepared by itself, so the quality is generally worse than that of oily blended paint. brush.
Thick paint is mostly applied by brushing method, and it is enough to apply 2~3 coats with a brush. Note that the second coat of paint needs to be done after the first coat of paint is completely dry, and the general drying time is about 24 hours at room temperature.
(It is recommended that you use a paint Thickness Gauge)
