Three-roll mills are suitable for processing high-viscosity slurries and difficult-to-disperse pigments. However, the open operation makes the working environment harsh, the operation safety is poor, the loss of dispersed materials is large, the structure is complicated, the debugging is difficult, and the production efficiency is low. It is basically no longer used in the modern coating industry.


3. Sand mill

The sand mill is one of the most widely used grinding equipment in the paint industry at present. It can be produced continuously. The quality of the processed products is good simple, and the operation is easy. It is suitable for the production of topcoats and most color pastes with high fineness requirements. . However, it is not very suitable for special pigments , such as temperature-sensitive pigments, pearlescent pigments, and flake pigments. Moreover, it is difficult to process when the viscosity of the slurry is high, and it is difficult to clean when changing colors, and there are many residues. There are many designs and varieties of sand mills. 4. Basket sand mill

Basket sand mill is a relatively new product developed, a new type of sand mill that integrates grinding and dispersing. Using circulating grinding technology, its principle is similar to high-circulation and large-flow horizontal grinding machine, suitable for grinding coatings and products with high solid content, high viscosity, and difficult to grind; with forced cooling device, it is suitable for temperature-sensitive pigments. Effective dispersing and grinding has the advantages of stable start, high continuous production efficiency, convenient color change, easy cleaning, and simple operation.


5. High-speed dispersing machine

The high-speed disperser is a commonly used paint production equipment, and it is also a kind of grinding and dispersing equipment for paint with a simple structure. Its working principle is: after the rotation of the motor undergoes stepless speed change, it drives the main shaft to rotate at a certain speed. The impeller, the high-speed rotation of the impeller produces mixing and dispersing effects on the materials, suitable for grinding and dispersing ultra-fine pigments, simple mixed dispersion and paint mixing can be used, convenient cleaning, high production efficiency , large production capacity and low pollution. 6. Coating equipment
