Density refers to the weight per unit volume at a specific temperature. Density Cups are used for quality control because different Density readings are produced when the components in the Coating are wrong. Density Cups are also known as Liquid Specific Gravity Bottles.
How to use Density Cup
1. Clean the Density Cup, weigh the empty cup and record the weight;
2. Adjust the temperature of the Density Cup and the test liquid (refer to the corresponding test label for the appropriate temperature standard);
3. Load the sample into the Density Cup;
4. Cover the lid without tilting;
5. Avoid bubbles;
6. Use an absorbent cloth and carefully insert the overflowing liquid;
7. Weigh the weight of the Density Cup filled with liquid;
8. Calculation Density
