Deck paint is applied to the deck parts of ships and offshore oil drilling platforms, which are in the same marine and atmospheric corrosive environment as hull paint. The difference is that the deck is in the vertical sunlight for a long time, and the coating is greatly worn by the crew walking and equipment moving on the deck. Therefore, the requirements for deck paint are: good adhesion with the substrate and between layers, and no falling off; good resistance to marine climate; wear resistance, scrub resistance and impact resistance; sufficient flexibility to adapt to the cold and heat of the ship board The expansion and contraction; for anti-skid paint, the coefficient of friction is large, and the anti-skid property is good.
"General Technical Conditions for Deck Paint" GB/T 9261-2008 national standard, on the basis of the 1988 version, the test method of the original item has been updated, and the non-volatile content, drying time, impact resistance, and artificial weathering resistance have been added. The index can more comprehensively assess the performance required by the deck paint. See Table 3-4-21 for the technical requirements of deck paint.
