Flexographic ink

When discussing flexographic letterpress inks, one problem needs to be explained, that is , in addition to some liquid (solvent-based) inks that mainly refer to printing and packaging materials, flexographic letterpress inks also have oxidized conjunctival drying inks (used for printing cloth bags, sacks, etc.) , kraft paper bags, cartons, etc.) as well as oxidized and permeable drying inks (for example, the CAMERON flexographic printing press in the United States basically uses this type of ink to print books and periodicals and other printed matters). Since the basic properties of these inks have been discussed above, it is only necessary to make some improvements according to printing machinery and plate materials used, so I will not repeat them here.

Flexographic letterpress inks belong to the category of liquid inks. From a rheological point of view, it is an ink close to Newtonian fluid, so it has good flow properties (currently, some flexographic letterpress inks are made of thixotropy, like latex paint, to prevent the occurrence of Precipitation , this ink needs to be fully stirred before use to destroy its thixotropy), the viscosity of this type of ink is between 1 and 100 poise. It is a volatile drying ink. Generally, it can be divided into three types: water type, alcohol type and mixed solvent type. In fact, it is rare to use a solvent alone to make ink, because it always has limitations.
