The squeegee is a tool used to scrape the ink on the screen to make it leak on the printing surface. Specifically, the squeegee has 4 functions.
①Ink filling effect. When the scraper is scraping, it can not only make the oil drip onto the substrate, but also fully fill the ink into the mesh of the ink-passing part of the screen.
②Ink distribution effect. When printing, the squeegee squeezes the ink through the mesh and transfers it to the substrate to form a pattern, and at the same time scrapes the ink from one end of the stencil to the other. In order to have enough ink when scratching again, the ink return plate is used to distribute the ink on the return journey, and the ink scraper is used to scrape the ink back to the starting point of printing evenly when printing by hand, so that the ink can block the mesh of the graphic part and play a role Prevent the ink in the mesh from drying and sticking to the mesh.
③ ink scraping effect. When the scraper is running, it can scrape the ink on the stencil surface as clean as possible.
④ embossing effect. During the operation of the scraper, a certain force is given to the scraper while scraping the ink, so that the stencil and the substrate are in line contact, and the scraping is completed.
