What are the structural components of the shoe bending testing machine?

The shoe bending test machine adopts the method of simulating shoe walking, simulating the bending angle of operation, and after continuous reciprocating bending under the conditions of fixed frequency, fixed time and fixed angle, it is judged whether it is degummed or broken. This instrument can be used not only as a basis for testing the quality of shoes, but also as a testing instrument for the bending resistance of soles. Designed specifically for flex resistance testing of finished shoes; understanding how well finished shoes will be damaged under repeated bending; and how each glued surface will be damaged. This data can be used as a reference for manufacturers to make improvements and quality control during the shoemaking process.

The whole shoe folding test machine consists of the following structural components:

  • Oscillating metal plate, the oscillation frequency is 140 times/min;

  • Two artificial feet with adjustable size and position;

  • A digital counter with reset function can be set to the desired number of tests;

  • Angle adjustment device, adjustable to zero (starting position);

  • A water reservoir with a small water pump is attached to the bench to keep the sample soles moist after loading. (Please use the protective cover during wet test);

  • The control panel can switch the working state of the instrument and set the counter, including: through air switch, start button, stop button, manual button, reset button, preset electronic counter.

The walking process simulates the tortuous state of the shoe upper leather while wearing the shoe. Clamp the sample material with inverted V-clamps. The grips need to be able to move relative to each other so that when the two grips come closer, the sample material will flex and bend downward. When testing the four upward folds surrounding the downward fold, the gripper needs to be able to vibrate at a constant speed so that the sample can be flexed repeatedly to observe damage or salt spots on the sample.
