The shoe flex Tester adopts the SATRA TM92 standard and is used to test the flex resistance of finished shoes or soles.
Testing purposes
Used to determine its resistance to bending or to indicate cracks in a shoe or sole by a reciprocating bending motion.

Instruments and Materials
a) Swing the metal plate at a rate of 140 cycles per minute.
b) Two artificial feet adjustable in size and position
c) Digital counter with reset function, which can set the test cycle according to the need.
d) Angle adjustment device, adjustable to zero (starting position)
f) The control panel can be used to control the working state of the instrument and set counter parameters, including "start" button, "stop" button, manual button, reset button, and preset electronic counter.

Samples should be complete footwear processed for 48 hours with no obvious defects.
One or two for a full pair of complete shoes.
If possible, store footwear in a standard controlled environment at 20±2°C and 65±2% RH for 48 hours.
Test Conditions
Bending angle: 30°, 45°, 50°, 60°, 90° (adjustable)
Test speed: 50~150/min
Chamber temperature: 23±2℃
test program
1) Adjust the eccentricity to achieve the desired angle.
2) Clamp the specimen
3) Adjust the position of the front clip (press block) and press it into the toe of the shoe
4) Reset the counter before the test, preset the bending cycle to the specified value and start the equipment for testing
5) After reaching the required number of tests, observe the entire shoe change.
testing report
At each inspection stage, the report should include flexible number of cycles, type of failure (if any) and quantitative measure of failure (if possible).
Unsplit is eligible, split is ineligible. The length of the split is expressed in millimeters (if any).
Test results for each pair of shoes are based on visual inspection. If one of them is split, the pair of shoes should be treated according to the split.
