Structure and Use of Type 48 Compression Tester

Type 48 compression Tester is suitable for testing the compressive properties of corrugated cardboard, including corrugated core flat crush strength (CMT), corrugated core vertical crush strength (CCT), corrugated base paper ring crush strength (RCT), single corrugated board flat crush strength ( FCT), corrugated cardboard edge compressive strength (ECT) and corrugated cardboard adhesive strength (PAT) and other test contents.

①Structure and working principle

The 48-type compression Tester is shown in the figure, the lower measuring plate is a moving pressurized part, and the upper part of the instrument is equipped with a pressure sensor and an upper measuring plate. When the lower measuring plate moves upward, the sample will transmit the pressure value to the pressure sensor while touching the upper measuring plate, and the pressure signal will be transformed and amplified by the electronic circuit and displayed on the pressure value display. The advantage of this instrument is that the quality of the test accessories does not have any influence on the test results.

②Main technical parameters

a. Rated pressure: 5kN.

b. Display value error: less than ±1%.

c. Stroke: 76mm.

d. Compression board size: 125mm×125mm.

e. Test speed range: 5~~50mm/min.

f. Calibration speed: 12mm/min.

③ Calibration procedure

a. Turn on the power and preheat the instrument for 1h.

b. Set the status switch to the "MEM OFF" position.

c. Set the pressure selection switch to the range of 0~-5kN.

d. Turn the zero adjustment knob to make the display show "o".

e. Set the status switch to the "CHECK" position.

f. The value displayed on the display should be consistent with the calibration value of the instrument, and the error should be less than or equal to ±1%. If the error is large, it can be adjusted with a potentiometer.
