Principle and operation of compression Tester

Structure and working principle

Figure 2-34 is a compression Tester. The motor drives the worm reducer on the left, and transmits the power to the worm reducer on the top cover through the transmission chain. The worm wheel of the reducer is equipped with a nut that matches the lead screw. The nut rotates and drives the lead screw to move up and down. When the lead screw moves downward, the upper measuring plate exerts pressure on the sample, and the pressure sensor installed under the lower measuring plate transmits the pressure signal to the electronic circuit, which is transformed and amplified and displayed on the pressure value display. When the sample breaks, the electric signal is used to control the reverse rotation of the motor to realize the automatic return of the upper measuring plate.

The main technical parameters

a. Pressure range: 0~3kN.

b. Measurement accuracy: ± 1%.

c. Measuring plate moving speed: (12.5 ± 2.5) mm/ min.

d. Measuring plate size: 120mm × 120mm.

Calibration procedure

a. Turn on the power and preheat the instrument for 30 minutes.

b. Turn the zero adjustment knob to make the display display "0000".

c. Press the "standard value" button, the panel display should display the "calibration value" provided by the manufacturer, and the error should not exceed ± 0.5%. If it meets the requirements, you should press the button to disconnect it from the "calibration value", and then the normal test can be carried out.

d. If the "standard value" exceeds ±0.5%, open the front cover, turn the potentiometer gently with a small screwdriver to make the displayed value within ±0.5% of the calibration value, and press its button to make it equal to the "calibration value " Disconnect to perform normal test.
