This test is suitable for assessing the bearing capacity of large-scale transport packages during railway shunting operations, when the vehicles are connected and humped, and the protection capacity of the package for the contents. The railway transportation test includes two situations . The method of vehicle hanging test is to load one or more packages on the railway wagon according to the relevant regulations of railway transportation, and use 3~5 wagons to impact the test wagon with the sample. The impact speed is selected from 3.0km/h, 5.0km/h, 6.5km/h, 8.0km/h, 9.5km/h, and the error of the impact speed should not exceed 10% of the predetermined impact speed. The method of the hump sliding test is to slide the vehicle group including the truck with the sample through the hump. Brake when the rolling speed reaches 20km/h. The error of the impact velocity shall not exceed 10% of the predetermined impact velocity.
The number of impacts generated in the vehicle hanging test and humping test should be close to the number of train hanging and humping expected to be encountered by the package during transportation. During the test, the impact acceleration generated on the package and the car body should be measured, the speed of the vehicle group after the impact of the suspension, before and after the slide brake should be measured, the deformation of each diagonal line of the package should be measured, and the damage of the package should be checked. If necessary, inspect the contents for damage.
